Re: All out AFRICA 23 March

Post by offroadbiker »

The funeral is today.

The young guy that assisted Eddie is now running the place in the interm - so we are still on for Saturday

Prices as above.

The "lapa" is in the process of be-ing rebuild, so braai facilities is a bit of a problem, there is enough trees for shade, and I can get us a barrel braai - so just let me know.

Lets meet at 8:30 inside near the gate. We will have a quick drivers briefing and chat for a few minutes.... Then we hit the trail !!
So bring a choppie and a doppie if you so wish.... NOTE: No alcohol on or during the trail to be consumed by drivers.... and preferably passengers too.... ( cause you then make us lus ... ) Then afterwards we can have a lekker social and talk nonsense and have a good laugh.

Thanks Dirk,

Yeah if you have a barrel braai or similar, please bring with. We can arrange to leave it in a secure place before we do the trail.

I will bring a bag of charcoal. If someone also wants to bring a bag, that will be great too !!

Previous Bosvark yes

Except for obsticle 6 - extreme mud, and Obsticle 10 - SURVIVOR, the rest are totally do-able.

Obsticle 13 is a downhill but with someone showing the correct line its not difficult.
Obsticle 14 has 2 options of which the first seems to catch me out, hoping someone can show me the correct line, cause I want to do it

Yeah a little more tricky than De wild. But there will always be someone on hand to assist you through any tough obstacle. Obstacle 10, I doubt I will do it, as it is a monster and I love my Iron Maiden....

Re the Braai, Schalk if you are happy to bring it along, that would be awesome. Dirk, you happy with that?

Look forward to seeing you guys there!!!
