Is the dash bubbled?.... if so, and you are in the JHB area, get into contact with Mark White Nissan. Mention that the guys from the Nissan 4x4 Club referred you to him. I am not sure as the the exact specifics on this, but Nissan SA should replace the dash at no cost as this was a factory fault. As I said they may say its too far out of warrantee, but it will be worth the effort !!! Mark White Nissan is very helpful apparently, especially towards the Nissan club guys.
Hope you come right.... as for the rest.... not sure other than hunt down the scrap yards

Unfortunately the previous owner tried to have it repaired already and made a mess of it. I’m not sure if Nissan will replace it now.

The dash will need to be recovered.
Right mirror needs to be replaced as the housing is damaged.
Rear aircon knob is missing.
Anybody have these parts lying around and a decent place to have the dash recovered?
Thanks.
look at the dash job that chris skinner did on his dash or send him a pm

Kempton Park is becoming worse than Centurion! I saw 4 Patrols today! PA You have a diesel? I thought that was Izak. What are your reasons for going 4.8 - from a current diesel Patrol perspective?

There is a nice Champaign colour 4.8 standing at Inspect- a-Car in Voortrekkers Road in Pretoria for R240K. Winch and roofrack fitted. Looks clean. About 100 000km on the clock. I really think it is worth a good look. I can have a good look at it for you if you are interested as I live about 10km away. There is also a white 3.0 Td - little bit older and I haven't looked at it in any detail.
Incidently, this is where I bought my Troll.
