Dink meeste van ons wat aktief op die forum is het een of ander van sy bashplates op ons Patrols.
Ek het op 'n staduim ook Suzi 4x4 gehad, baie lekker voertuig maar nie in die Patrol se liga as dit by 4x4 werk kom nie.

Yes you are quite right Izak, both great vehicles but for different reasons. The wife loves the Suzi with it's permanent 4x4 drive and ESP and traction control - very surefooted even in very bad (normal Kaap) wind

just neeeds that lift kit the wife doesn't want to fit...
Was doing this route with a mate who has a Colt Bakkie 4x4 - he was amazed how easy it was in the Troll and reckons he is going to get one next year

The Patrol makes all the red sections green!
2 Oceans is 'n lekker roete vir 'n oggend. Die kinders is mal oor die grasperke en ons het al lekker gebraai daar.

Hi all....I have done the two Oceans in the wet and its very challenging and slippery. The landy that fliped tried to escape and went off the route. He was down in the boomslang part and for what ever reason tried to find another way out. I did the two oceans in my navara with standard tyres and it was done with a lot of wheelspin and effort. Its too easy for my patrol with front and rear lockers. The owner closes the route now when it rains.. but I am sure if there were a few patrols he would let us in.....
