Yip.... V8 and very nicely kitted out. I dig his rear bumper !!!

I must say that there was a 110 defender and a cruiser bakkie in their convoy that went through after the disco. They still tried to go through quite fast to prevent getting stuck..... with the chop in the cruiser saying to me that I'm going to battle cause his standard cruiser is 2" higher than me....... :rolling: :rolling: :rolling: :rolling: :rolling: :rolling: :rolling: :rolling: :rolling: :rolling:

When Grant went through.... he honestly just idled through. Even Cules's Nivara breezed through, and I saw the trail of his diff on the middle manitjie !!

BUT .... I must just say that the Patrols kept their name proud at Afriski... even with Alex getting bogged in cause of some (I think it was a Hyundai Getz.... yes can you believe it..... I must say nothing cause I get the hell in with stupidity ) person stuck and blocking the road so nobody can get further up the pass. And well done to Vaughn with his Hardbody who showed ALL the vehicles that had stopped on the side of the road how to do a recovery with a snatch rope ....ON ICE !!!! I managed to squeeze my way past all the stationary vehicles ( incl various 4x4 bakkies and a Prado) and once Alex was out, I took lead and Vaughn and Alex followed in my tracks and when we looked in our mirrors a lot of the others joined the train out of the snow blizzard to the top of the koppie out of Afriski. I was VERY impressed with the Kumho MT's .... not one tyre spin on the way out, just crushed and spat out the ice.
