Nissan Patrol 4x4 (Africa)

Doubt you'll get straighter than this . But,I'm afraid it will be cut off soon again and routed another way as soon as we get the second transfer case and the H260 diff under the car. The shocks will be turned to face toward the inside and I still have to find a place for the diesel tank to go back. I am hoping to just bash it in on the passenger side in line with where it was on the right originally. That would leave me with a centre run above the present propshaft and out the middle as the new diff has a right hand drop.

Pro of a straight pipe: its going to sound very nice
con of a freeflow : its not going to sound as nice as the straight pipe

Yip basically identical just Freeflow is more expensive

SJC, daai was die standaard Hardbody shackle wat ek 40mm plaat in gelas het vir so 20mm se lift. Ek bou maar soos ek dit nodig het. Het vir my voor 120mm schackles gebou, maar sal dit een van die dae ook verleng/vervang met 150mm. Ek soek nie eintlik meer lift nie, sit al met 150mm, maar my afmetings was effe uit gewees toe ek die goed voor aanmekaar sit, en nou is my schackle se hoek te styl. Na dat die blad vere gaan lê het, het hulle "langer" geword en ek sit met meer as 45grade. Wil hê hulle moet effe meer reg op staan.
Maar die keer sal ek "H" schackles bou wat die boute deur druk. Die tipe wat die boute op gesweis is, is a pyn om in te kry van die kant ef terwyl jy alles probeer op lyn.

Agter sal ook oor gebou word as ek eers sien hoe staan die Sani met die H260 diff. Sy pype is baie groter vir die 1,51" side shafts teen or die klein Hardbody diff wat nou daar in is.

And is the straight pipe not too noisy?
Dont want the whole neighborhood to stop what they are busy doing when i come down the road...

The turbo kills a lot of the noise, and many people think it sounds stunning.

For me' it's too loud. Bear in mind though that my primary useage is for game drives with focus on nature (and mainly bird) photography, where the ability to approach closely and silently is critical...

Edit: it's probably no louder than your neighbor's son's warmed-up hatch.

And compared to a freeflow, is it much louder or similar in sound?

Hey i will ask michell to post a video of his patrol system ....it sounds lekke to me i think your turbo spool up a bit faster becouse of no back pressure. ...you decide for yourself
