Jules, I don't know the Yokohama Muddies at all, but I have a lot of respect for the brand and am quite a fan of their current All Terrain tyres. This is what the Muddies look like:
I would definitely give them a try.
I have a set of Yokohama A/Ts on our Pajero DiD LWB. Actually it is the second set. The first set lasted for 105000 km and the current set has done about 45000 km and seem to be good for over 100000 km as well. This is what the A/Ts look like:

Nog besig om sommetjies te maak, gelukkig kan ek die naweek daaroor dink , het nou by Grant ook pryse gekry. So die produkte om uit te kies raak al hoe interresanter alles gaan maar afhang wat ek kan bekostig sonder om die bank te veel te breek.

It seems I will be buying the Pro Comp Extreme All Terrain tyres, buy 4 get the 5th one free, R7400 for 5 tyres. Surfed the internet and seems the tyre is not bad, made by Coopers in USA

These are sold by the likes of Willie Randall Off Road Industries - the now and then advertise these specials.....
