I removed my unichip after 5 blown turbos and a hand grenade on no 3 cylinder, and have never had any trouble since...If anyone would like it, make me an offer...

Was the Unichip installed for performance gain ?

Im planning on doing the EGR blocking and would then need to use a Unichip but for basic fueling and not performance gain.

NICI Beast -- any HONEST graats wil tell you -- the Terrano engine is SO effective, Chipping it is a waste of money [we've had three Terrano ..
Just make sure the injectors are callibrated and does not nose-drip and really deliver full 135KPA pressure .. then that Terrano 2,7 sheizz all over a 3.0 V6 petrol nissan

It is not the best idea to chip the more advanced engines. There are so many ECU's and microprocessors processing info from all the different sensors that when you chip it, you going to cause a glitch in the matrix.
I have a Unichip lying in my study as a paperweight as well. Will not fit it to Repulse.
