Same with me... The extended warranty on my Patrol is one of those "Motorite" ones.

Hi G-man and Lunar. Go to Schus nissan Parow. Jokkie de Roubaix is workshop manager and he changed my dash. The bubbles is a factory fault and shoud be change even it the car is out of guarentee. Speek to Jokkie and ask him if he can't help you with a claim. I now he has done 6 patrol dashboards in the last 4 months. 021 930 3333

I can also recommend Jokkie,
My hardbody's engine went bang on 150 000km, Jokkie handled the claim and Nissan replaced the engine. My only cost was servicing of injectors, cleaning of the radiator and a new clutch. All of which should have been done at 150k km in any case.
Try them

No Saltman, the parts I source myself was not to difficult to get. Even not from nissan. But some parts I had trouble to get from nissan, like v-belts I could not get,a waterpump I had to wait 3days and it cost R4200 for a 4.5.If you are my customer and I must tel you I can not get v-belts for your car, that is a worry.
Cheers
Frans

Sjoe Frans!

I think JOKKIEs name and number should be kept in every Patrol

You're right Ian,and Etienne the parts manager from parow and clairmont,he run between the two.

My grootste skok was DRIE (3)weke se wag vir waterpype. Ek wou net extra he vir n trip.
Nog n naam om te he is Ettiene Kuun by nissan
Groete
