Contact the HEAD of Department and tell them to train their staff properly..
It is their own law that demands taillights in the bumper because the corner lights get "invisible" [out of line of sight] with a spare wheel on the rear door..
BEST & quickest - take fotos of the vehicle rear end, go see the "Aanklaer" .. he will have enough savvy to throw out the case [I so do hpe you have NOT paid already???????]

Hi guys
So final outcome of the "tailight" issue.
Went to court,waited my turn,last in the cue,shocker!!!!
So as the "staatsaanklaer" looks at me , he gets a funny look on his face and ordrs me to approach the bench.
He looks at my file and says,dont you remember me,i said no.
Turns out that a few years back,he bought my house and is still the proud owner.
At that stage i was out of country and my wife handled all the selling issues.
I only saw him once briefly during this process,but he remembered me.
The fine was torn up

and we are now braai buddies,it's not what you know but who you know,i guess.

Shirbettt - jy kon eerder die saak uitgegooi gehad het as jy mos vi oompi geLUISTER het en die AANKLAER gaan sien het .. spaar 'n dag EN julle kon al vroeer beginne saambraai het :-))
Ons is bly dit het reg uitgeloop [ek gaan steeds 'n petisie deurgooi na Jack van der Merwe [Dir Gen: Gauteng Transport]

Please tell him he will have many braai buddys if he moves to Gauteng. He will never have to eat at home..
