Jy kan probeer maar die engin behoort te vrek as die clutch goed werk - of anders het jy soveel krag dat jy wel kan weg trek.

Navigator, usually when a clutch is on his way out, it will start to bite higher and higher and not lower...depending on the type of self-adjustment system. In your case it rather sound as if the clutch release less and less when you apply your foot. This rather indicates to the pedal/hydraulic system that starts to fail. Given my little understanding of the 4.5 clutch system, I will speculate that your clutch booster-system is on its way out. This may require a booster recon. It is not a train smash and quite a usual maintenance action....much cheaper than a clutch-kit.

On that kind of kilo's, your release-bearing is more likely to fail than the plate itself....if the plate was not damaged/raped. However, usually before a release bearing seaze up, it starts to make an uncomfortable noise.

Myne maak soms 'n snaakse geluid! Dan los ek die clutch en trap hom weer dan is alles dood stil.
