Friend, "pietpetoors" who started his 4x4 life with us at the Nissan 4x4 crowd when he had his Terrano [he is now running 'Hi-Lux 4x4x forum' ] has acquired tyre deflators at a BIG reduce from what other makes cost.
Pieter has just received a consignment of tyre deflators to sell at R280 ea. With this robust little tool you can drop your tyre pressure to the desired level within seconds ... no more standing and sticking keys / sticks / matches etc. into the valves.

... I got that part, but thought if he has a shop here in Gauteng, then maybe I can take a drive there and buy it and pay straight away instead of doing a bank transfer and and waiting in the post for it to arrive. ek dink ons was op different frequencies met die....

Dankie Stefan - slip ek alweer .. O K - die STAUN is 'n wenner op sy eie gebied - want jy stel die verlangde druk vooraf in - dan skroef jy hom op en hy loop af tot waar jy hom wil he..
Maar met hierdie een is dit nog soos die gewone stelsel afblaas- afblaas - MAAR sonder die valvie -wat die afblaas tyd toaal inkort -- hier is 'n U-Tjoep clip wat beduie:


Thanks Stefan - I slip again .. OK - the STAUN is a winner on its own territory - because you set the desired pressure in advance - then you screw it on and it deflates to where you want ..
But this one is still like the system normal deflate/measure/deflate ... but without the valve -which limits the deflate time a LOT - here's a YouTube clip that shows how it works :
