Pieter, I was at AAD Nissan in Milnerton this afternoon.

For a Y60 Patrol the thermostat is under R400 for a 72~75 deg C model and around R460 for the 82~85 deg C model. Fundis recommend the genuine dealer thermostat as opposed to the generic part because the generic part might not open as fully as the genuine part.

Other consumables such as Oil,Air and Fuel filter I use GUD or FRAM. They're about 1/5 the price of the genuine part from Japan.

Ek weet dis 'n lang adres, maar kyk bietjie of dit is wat jy na soek. BAIE goedkoper as R702 vir een. :salute:

Thanks Pieter, I got a call from Marius and the other hubcap is going to cost about R420 (But there is none in the country so ...) I also found this quite strange as I would have thought that the spacing of the wheelnuts would be generic across the models. (Apparently not) Does this mean that my hubs wouldn't fit on any other models?

Len: According to the 3.0TD "Manual"from Patrol4x4.com.au, they recommend OEM Airfilters due to the criticality of the air volume for the turbo's boost setting etc.
