Honestly, even not having seen this car, I would still walk away.
1. This Patrol is older and not stock. Unless you are expert in older Patrols, Chevy engines, and their associated internal workings, assessing whether repairs and mods were done correctly and what may still need to be done will not be easy.
2. Parts for this Patrol may also may be hard to find: see 1.
3. If you do not really know what you are doing, a "project" can rapidly turn into a "money pit."
4. Do one car at a time. Otherwise, if you have two cars you are working on, it is very easy to have two non-operational "projects."
Sorry, but you have to be cold about these things.
