My previo0us Hard Body did that just after I bought it, raised hell [or almoast] with the dealer [Nissan Edenvale] They sent a mekki all the way out to our house [Pta East] - he had a thingy-ma-djigg that he called a "console" [told hiom, I'm NOT interested in their blu*&^%$n consolation - just fix the *^&^&%^##%&* car. [Bad bad bad oom mac. ]
Then he plugged that computer console thing-a-ma-djigg to Brutus. 5 Minutes later all sorted - Brutus NEVER did that again.

As for the humming - Universal hummm, differentials hummh, wheel bearing hgommm, fly wheel .. thares a lot of them spinning things making noises.

Start with cheapest - Check that rear axle is still 100% true aligned with front [tyres will show uneven wear] Replace transmission & diff oils. --- of nee wag , dis duur, check the universals & wheel bearings ...My gut feel reckons you'll end up at the fly wheel. It got hot, then splashed with water and it warped a little. Effects the clutch, makes hjummming noize and can cause clutch shudder.

But you knew all that already -- I'm just making up time waiting for my Dwerrrgie to come back from Toast Masesters training :oldtimer:
