Hello David, guys

Remember that a lot of the heat in the hub is transferred from the brake disks. Thus driving around particularly in town can leave them very hot.

With regard to how difficult the hubs are to rotate, there may well be a torque figure in the manual?

Phone Paul at Menlyn Brake & Clutch.. tel: 012 998 7795 and ask him what the correct method is to tighten them bearings.
