I speak under correction, but a diesel nozzle shouldn't fit in a petrol filler neck.
If that is a thing, it's a more modern thing than Y60 and (at least some) Y61 Patrols.
I fill my car with diesel every time, but did not change anything relating to the fuel tanks of filler setups when I did the conversion.
