Hi Margo

On the Aussie website a guy had a similar problem, the subtank light comes on and the pump doesn't work but the engine warning light also came on. He says it was caused by the alternator that was faulty.

I had a problem with my subtank about 2 years ago. The light on the subtank switch comes on when you press the button but it doesn't pump the fuel to the main tank. The subtank warning light didn't come on and if you opened the subtank's filling cap the fuel was boiling. I replaced the subtank pump and that was the end of my problem.

Hi there :) Thanks for the posts.

My baby is all sorted. Something to do with missing fuses (Which is very strange to me)... The guy next door to me was kind enough to look at my car :) He is a mechanic (only just found this out).

So car all better and cost = R0.00!!! Yay.

Thanks guys

Seeing that I know that in your previous life you are a qualified sparky how about packing out your tester and checking if one is not popped ??? (If I can not take you out no body can lol)

Problems that misteriously dissapear has the tendancy to re-appear (when you can least afford it) :naughty:

Hope not so in this case.
