Oom Mac, now you tell me! I've been driving stukkend cars all my life......

If I may briefly interrrupt the war of posts... I found the chassis cleaning place Om Mac recommended. They were pleasant, efficient and it cost R60. Thanks again Oom Mac. I guess there isnt one in Joburg because all the 4x4s do there is climb Sandton pavements? :rolling:

Hey hey Mr Rod.... Yesterday afternoon while traveling north on the Ben Schoeman highway, in my SAC Centurion 1.4 Golf loan car, I saw a beautiful looking GQ coming towards me on the opposite side of the highway with a stately gentleman behind the wheel..... hmmmm... it was you !!!

I must say, it stands out in amongst the traffic !!!

Well its was so clean and polished I hardly recognised it myself! :woo: And as for the driver - that was my chauffeur - can be a cranky old bugger at times...... :oldtimer:
That afternoon there was a gold GQ standing all alone and abandoned looking on your side of the freeway. It couldnt have been a breakdown - that doesnt happen to Nissans - maybe it ran out of petrol? Not diesel because we know that the diesel engines run almost forever on one tank.

ha ha ha...... you made my Friday morning !!!!.... The office couldn't understand why I burst out laughing.... :rolling: :rolling:

I didn't see it..... probably cause the little "Golof" I was driving felt so low to the ground, like my donkey was going to scrape the "cats eyes" in the tar. All that was visible to me was truck sump plugs and other cars wheel nuts....

So, real truck don't have spark plugs? Hmmmm

So, I do not drive a real truck?

Perhaps you are right. I don't.

I drive a bullet.

Actually, it is more like a cannonball.
And, yes, you do need sparkplugs if you want to ride a cannonball!

Alex,
I would rather think of you driving a demolition ball, specially the way your right foot sometimes 'slip".
