Just a piece of cable or chain that can get round part of the chassis can also work for a recovery point!

Is this now the updated list??????

1) Cedric - Iron Maiden
2) Andre - Leeuloop
3) David - Hillbilly
4) Christo - Chuck Norris
5) Deon - ama-glug-glug
6) Greg Justus
7) Louis Naude
8) wimpie olivier
9) Thabbies - Patrol
10) Riaan - Bruin Beer
11) Schalk- d22 warmachine
12) Oellie
13) Wilhelm van Rooyen - XenoBlitz
14) Peter Connan
15) Stefaansie = to enrol on Tuesday
16) Offroadbiker = ran out of excuses

Nough said, time for action

For those that missed the email sent out by Vaughn... This is what he had to say..

Hi all, from the calls I have received, let me reiterate:
1) This is a FUN event. YOU will be the most competitive person there. So, RELAX, ENTER, SEND the form, have some FUN.
2) The poles are pvc, so no damage possible to vehicles. Scrape marks come off with burnishing polish, done it plenty.
3) The golf balls are tied to the poles, so no damage to vehicles. Bring 9 irons for later!!
4) The obstacles can be driven by anyone who does not panic - choose the line, drive positively. Just above idle with diff lock on, will do most obstacles justice.
5) Partner with a friend, as a driver/co driver pair, to get 2 shots at the goodies.
6) The obstacle test vehicle is a Safari, with LSD, turns like the Titanic. So, your newer vehicles will easily turn inside the poles.
7) This is a FUN event, more fun than any event you going to attend the rest of the year. Most other manufacturer clubs, eg Hilux, Land Cruiser, Isuzu, Jeep, Suzuki, Land Rover, do this 4 times a year, for the FUN - and learnings. Want to learn how to 4x4 with fun? Do this event.
Come on guys, take a chance on having some FUN, enter NOW, so we don't need to open the event to other teams.
Kind regards
Vaughn Ashford

I arranged with both my sons to join the Fundi Challence with my Patrol!! :blonde:

I have to test all the obstacles with my Safari on Friday and help the club and marshals on Saturday.

It looks like most 4x4's will be Patrols to do the challenge and we really hope that the Navara's, Pathfinders and Hardbody's will join us on Saturday.

Hopefully some of the Nissan agents will send one of their 4x4 sales guys to come and do the Fundi Challenge so that they will have some experience to do proper sales in the future.
