I got the 4 brass thingy ma jigs that you have to preset to a set pressure of whatever you want. The you just unscrew the cap and screw that on and leave it till it stops by itself.... Bob's your aunty. It was about R500 for the set at Outdoor Warehouse, but it was a fathers day gift from my boys and I must say they are fantastic. Mine are preset to deflate to 1.7 bar from 2.2 bar.

I trust STETHO guages for as long as I do off road [en dis langer as wat Grant oud is] -- Kry by MIDAS en laas wat ek gekoop het was R80.
By ons vriend Piet Petoors se web winkel kan jy ook die Badger "fast defalator aankoop -- FRAKSIE van ARB se prys en identies dieselfde produk: http://www.4x4direct.co.za/shop/

The one that PC uses works very well, is quick and not very expensive (same as the Badger).

The cheapest and most effective tyre deflator I have found is a cut off piece of bicycle pump connector.
When I need to drop pressures ie when towing double axle boat trailer it takes awful long time for 8 tyres. I have 4 of these connectors, just screw them on 4 wheels at a time and wait a few seconds, remove and check pressures with a normal electronic guage - nothing does it quicker! The bicycle pump connectors cost peanuts - see the pic below
