Patrol Pick-up Discussion

Hi all,
Nissan SA will be hosting 3 Japanese colleagues, for discussions regards the Patrol Pick-ups.
Dates: 16 and/or 17 July.
Anyone who owns one, or drives one, or knows people who do, please contact me to assist them to meet the Japanese.

NSA are looking for 5 (five) owners/drivers of UY61 (Patrol P/Up) as comparisons to Land Cruiser P/ups. The factory are planning (busy with) UY61 ZD30 and would like to get upfront info from current customers.
1) Interview at factory in Rosslyn (with vehicles present, for inspection, accessories used, fitment, etc. May include a short test drive for NVH/ride comfort, etc.
2) The information we are looking for is usage, loading, towing, activities, requirements, and problem areas, dissatisfaction. Also bring service manuals for service dealer information.
3) The schedule to accommodate the visitors is as follows:
- On the 16th July we have gap between 15h00 and 17h00
- on the 17th July from 14h00 to 17h00
4) Please can the name and contact details of each driver/owner, as well as the engine and chassis number of the vehicle, be supplied to us, prior to the meeting, so our people can bring production data re date of manufacture, line QC results, compare to presented vehicle, to do some basic QC, usage pattern, checks, based on age, mileage done, etc. Also in case we run late, early, and need to contact them to revise visit times.

We will give an incentive gift to each driver for the information exchanged.

Russ... It is a pity you are in the Cape, I think the info you have, and experienced would be of HUGE value to Nissan on so many levels. It would be quite something if Nissan flew you up for this... I think it would be in their interests, especially as you have been in contact with management recently .....
