Good good.....ha ha...

Maybe something like the fridge protective covers....... or if someone is feeling handy with the sewing machine that has a strong needle, 3 layers of material. The outside a pliable canvas, sandwiched in between, a thin almost duvet type material, and on the inside a strong "Calico" ( I think its spelt something like that ). The duvet/spongy material will form an air space between inside and outside assisting with the insulation.

Just my :mytwocents:

Cedric: Inside the trol yu will hardly need dust covers - coz they mos almost or nothing dust inside..

\Koop "geyser blanket" [die groene] by MAKRO of hardeware winkel - koop tarpualin [seil?]

yip... Oom is reg... die insulasie is meer belangruk as stoff uithou. Maar hoe dik is daai groen "geyser blanket" material. Will it compress sufficiently at the corners/bends to make it neat and tidy? The idea is good though!!!!

This stuff works unbelievably well at reducing friction>

For those that are interested, it's available from Nusaf Danymic Tech, who have branches in woodmead and Belleville, at about R26/m

Over the weekend I covered it all up.

The original plan was to use galvanized sheet, but I discovered that i only had a small pice left, so I made do with what materials I had. The right hand side is galvanized sheet, covered with insertion rubber, the left hand side is covered in 4mm plywood covered in insertion rubber (I did not cover the area next to the fridge), the front (closest to the back seat) is covered in Masonite, and the top is a 15mm melamine, also covered in insertion rubber, so that things can be packed on top. It has hooks on one side and two screws on the other, so it is quick and easy to remove.
