AAWDC Family Fun Day

The Nissan 4x4 Club will compete in the AAWDC Family Fun Day at Rust de Winter on the 13th of August.

We already have 4 Patrols, 2 Hardbody's and 2 Navaras in our team. There are still two places open in our team if any of you guys want to join us.

I need to register each vehicle online and need the following info:

Driver: Name, ID, address,driver lisence number and phone number.
Co-Driver: Name, ID, address and phone number.
Vehicle: Make, Model, Engine make, size and number of pistons and regitration number.

I need the info ASAP.

Iron Maden, Chuck and Beast are already in the team and I will marshal out obsticale! - who want to help with the marshaling?

Gents, I've been told that we still need two more teams to compete at the AAWDC Interclub Fun Day. The event takes place at Rust de Winter's Jamboree track two weekends from now (Saturday the 13th of August).

On offer for the two teams are free Nissan 4x4 shirts, free entrance to the event, plus free membership to the Nissan 4x4 club for the remainder of the year.

This is truly a fun day and there is no intention to break your vehicle. Each club has already drawn an obstacle and will spice them up with fun tasks such as kettie shooting, puzzle building, etc, whilst driving. This year’s event will be hosted at the Rust de Winter ATV4X4 jamboree track on the 13th of August 2011 in aid of the “Stop Rhino Poaching” and Jacaranda 94.2 FM initiative.

It is advised that clubs make use of the wonderful camping facilities at Rust de Winter to avoid having to cover the distance to Rust de Winter on the morning of the 13th August. The ATV 4x4 has made their camping facilities available for all clubs at a fixed rate of R30 p/p/n for the weekend. The camping area will be available from 12:00 on the 12th August 2011.

A portion of the camping fee will be donated to the Stop Rhino Poaching initiative.

Rust de Winter has amazing camping facilities located under old Monkey Thorn trees covered by lush LM grass. The best camping facilities I have seen at an AAWDC Interclub Family fun day.

Camping will be provided and organised by the ATV 4X4 club and payment is only required at the gate but prior booking is recommended for clubs that wish to camp together to enable the demarcation of areas.

Firewood is available for sale at the entrance to the camping area.
