You need add-ons to warm your fuel in winter and we struggle to keep our coolant temperatures safe in summer

But despite these small differences, it's still the same wonderful Patrol wherever you go in the world...

Hi Kevin

Where does the PTO winch get it's drive from, and do you have any idea of what force it delivers or it's line pull rating?

Regards
Peter

Great Troll,

On my last visit to Moscow, I purchashed a T Shirt - Vodka, connecting people. Make sure you have a stass in the car for the cold winter. My theory is vodka in Russia is a neccesity QQQ QQQ QQQ QQQ . ANTI FREEZE FOR THE BLOOD.

The PTO winch is a Nissan factory item, and it gets its drive from the transfer case.

IIRC the PTO winch is rated to pull up to 15,000 lbs, strong but very slow.

Don't worry, it gets wicked hot here in the summer. Temperatures were over 40 for much of July and August.

Vodka is the least of it. A lot of people here drink homebrew ("samogon,") which can range from decent but very potent vodka to some terrible rotgut flavored with antifreeze and pesticides.

I have a bad stomach ulcer so the vodka is off the list for me. Been Livin la Vida Russia for too long, I guess.
