4x4 4 handicapped Kids - 28 Nov

Hallo ammal - Ek neem vrymoedigheid om hierdie aan te stuur in die vertroue dat die wat kan, ook sal wil - uithelp met 'n 4x4 om die kiddies mee te vermaak - Ek be-oog om 'n Program in 2011 van stapel te stuur "Be-A-4x4-Blessing" as deel van my jaar se Uitreike [kan ook "4x4 4 Kids" heet .... wat daarop gemik is om gestremde kinders en wesies op avontuur uitstappies te neem. Vir 2010 is daar niks op ons program nie en ek dink hierdie is 'n ideale geleentheid om by 'n bestaande reeling wat reeds professioneel beplan en voorberei is te gaan gewig ingooi...

PLEASE!!!!
I URGENTLY REQUIRE PEOPLE WITH 4x4's WHO CAN ASSIST ON SUNDAY 28 NOVEMBER WITH THE VITA NOVA 4x4 DAY FOR THE RESIDENTS OF THE VITA NOVA HOME (MENTALLY AND PHYISICALLY DISABLED PEOPLE(CHILDREN))
At this stage I only have 12 4x4 vehicles of people who have offered to assist in driving the children around on a short 4x4 trail and I require a minimum of 25 4x4's. Without 4x4 vehicles I cannot host the day and that will be a tragedy for these children who have been looking forward to this annual 4x4 day.

I would like to plead to you to please assist with your 4x4 if it is at all possible. Please help us make this day happen for these children.

The date for this event is Sunday 28 November, and it will take place at the McCarthy 4x4 Club at Rhino Park. Time 08h30 till approx. 12h00(That we would need 4x4's) Thereafter party for the children and then christmas father arrives with their presents. (Big excitement for the children) The day will end at approx. 15h00 when the guests will depart by busses to their home in Springs.

Mmmm, is the course difficult though? I am not comfortable as yet with doing difficult courses. is there anyone willing to drive my Troll??? on that day??? Or i will ask my brother to come with and drive it through the course for me

Tannie Margo om n Patrol deur enige course te kry is EASY PEASY, YOU POINT THE NOSE IN THE DIRECTION YOU WANT TO GO en daar gaan jy NO PROBLEM , O yes and sometimes you need to put it in 4x4

Wish I was there to take the kids through they normally have a ball of a time

Lol Jules.... I am fine with the mild courses.... Its the difficult ones that freak me out..... Dont know my vehicles capabilities (sacralidge i know)

Hello Margo

From long experience, getting somebody else to drive your 'troll with you in it on a difficult track is the one thing that is guaranteed to make you never try it yourself.

The way to do it is to watch a few other guys do it, and then to do it yourself, if necessary with an old hand in the passenger seat talking you through it. This is much less scary. Remember that the golden rule is to rather do it over than overdo it. So just take it easy, and the Patrol really does make it easy.
