Speedo Correction

Post by Rooster »

This is a write up for guys who’s speedometers are out with bigger tyres, this solution will work for both scenarios, faster GPS than speedometer or faster speedometer than GPS.

This might be common knowledge to some of you but nobody seemed to know whom I spoke to and the only solution was the speedo correction gadget that you put on your speedo cluster(like what Thys can do) but with that gadget, my cruise control does not work correctly it is extremely jerky because it wants to be 100% correct on the speedo.

When I received the parts ordered from partsouq, it took me roughly 15-20 minutes for compete job.

see attached PDF for instructions

That's brilliant thanks André. Can you give a rough estimate of what the total parts and the import costs were?

Cost from Partsouq was $164 so about R2970.00 and DHL import costs was R1210.00
