Re: Ryan/Darth
Hi All,
Apologies for the slow response.
Below pic, I took with the first mods complete. I installed the roof rack last week.
I had some stuff lying around from a previous build that I transferred to this one. Highlift jack, water tank with tap on the rack, and also jerry cans.
Planning to install spotlights this week in the front and also sides of rack.
We have a 4x4 caravan for family trips, so my overlanding mods for the vehicle will focus on solo trips.
To-do list:
1) 2-inch lift
2) 35-inch tyres
3) Rear steel bumper
4) Awning
5) Winch front
6) Rear drawers and fridge slide, plus fridge
7) Dual battery and electrical point at the back
8) Free flow pipe
9) Radio upgrade to get apple car play
10) Roof tent (Although I am not decided on this one yet. The new stretcher/tent combos you get these days also look ideal for a solo trip. Just as long as there are no lions!)
11) UHF/VHF Radio
12) Long-range fuel tank (this is also still up in the air. I want to look into a pump to use jerry cans on roof and rear bumper to save money).
If I win the lotto:
1) Supercharger
2) Supercharger
3) Supercharger
When and where is the river trip?
Apologies for the slow response.

Re: Ryan/Darth
Looking good Ryan.
When is river trip ? River trip is this weekend.
Where is river trip ? Limpopo province. It starts in the Klein Letaba river near Giyani and ends in the Molototsi river near Mamokgadi.
Details on that are here: https://patrol4x4.co.za/viewtopic.php?t=9660
I'll also be in the river, but with a different group. We'll be a day behind the forum.

Re: Ryan/Darth
A tripple-supercharger setup will be something to see. Are you thinking sequential, or some other configuration?
I hope you win the lotto, just so I can see it!
Mag ons ons kenniskry met lekkerkry aanhoukry.
