Hey Folks,
I paid the very last installment on my ZD30 2013 Patrol Y61. I have always had this desire to own a well kept 4.2 no turbo Patrol. I really like the 2-tone red or blue.
1. Are they still available? Where should I look? I've watched Autotrader. Don't really see them there.
2. What should I pay for one?
3. is 200 000 - 220 000 km's decent for this engine? What are the issues to look out for?
4. What other major expensive components are there that are problem issues?
I know each car is an individual case, and service histories play a role, but this is more a collectors item. Still: I want to be able to take it to far-out wilderness areas and enjoy the rugged old beast.
What do you think?

I think you are on the right track ...haha... 4.2 diesel......hmmmmm I love the smell of diesel in the morning.
Finding these are really scarce, but one will come along. Just be patient.
Price, well that is a difficult one to answer. It's all dependent on condition
These motors I believe will surpass 500 000km with ease. They are as strong as Stroh Rum and can take a pounding.
On a N/A TD42, only suspension components like bushes etc. again the chassis, g/box and diffs of a Patrol are next level.
