Daar is twee skole wanneer dit kom by sand. Die een glo so glad as moontlik, die ander so aggresief as moontlik.

En hou jou kar so lig as moontlik.

Daai 4.8 wil sing!

HT's are my preferred tyre for driving soft sand and dunes. I work with 4x4's so I just do what suits me, not other opinions and trends. I'd quite happily go drive the pan with HT's. We have vehicles with HT's specifically for sand driving jobs. (Prado with HT's is my favourite passenger carrier for sand but I can't mention Toyota on this forum :surprised: )

Sorry for the english - I can only vloek in afrikaans!

Just one other thing to be aware of - if these tyres are the original ones fitted to the Patrol, then they are nearly 7 years old. Generally tyres should be replaced every 5-6 years even if they have tread left as the rubber tends to dry out and crack.
BUT - this depends a lot on how the tyres have been treated. If they have been run at the correct pressures, if the vehicle has been stored in a garage, etc....
So just have a proper look at them, check the date stamp, check for cracks in the sidewall/between the treads and signs of uneven wear.
Cheers, Gareth

Is so 10 km stadig, dalk kan ek dit so verbeter.

As jou speedo stadig is teenoor GPS, is jou bande al klaar groter as standaard. My Hardbody/Sani maak so met sy 33" bande. Lees 100 op die klok as GPS 110 wys.
