Re: Zerubabel
Hannes, please get your facts straight.....
A Patrol is a HE....
Pajero's, Freelanders, Everests and Fortuners are SHE..
Please let us not talk about this again......

Re: Zerubabel
Howzit to me all bakkies are he and all passenger vehicles, SUV s included is she.
At least vehicles can choose!
But I do agree she is quite a butch female that always wants to beat the men at men things. (and she gets it right too)
On another note SHE is home tonight and is just so much tighter and smoother.
And her diff lock works!

Re: Zerubabel
Nice!
I really need to get my very unloved patrol to him. She’s (she is a she!) very tatty at the moment!

Re: Zerubabel
For those that don't know Zerubabel has become Zerubabel 1 and is now history.
Zerubabel 2 is born and will be home soon.

Re: Zerubabel
Zerubabel 2 has arrived and is home.
Man there is a big difference between a 4.8 and a turbo 4.8!
Zerubabel 2 is by description exactly the same as Zerubabel 1 but is a completely different beast.
Zerubabel 1 was more subdued in looks and no 2 is madmax!
Interesting this one has heated seats that no 1 never had.
Everything that I wanted is on him and more.
The exhaust screams but not to loud.
The rev counter jumps it does not increase.
The car was in excellent condition but I will do a few TLC moves just to make it more friendly as a daily.
The upgraded sound system with reverse camera is great.
The wife and sister both battle to get in and I still have to figure out something.
The 33s BFG A/Ts will be fine for now.
I must find a new place for the high lift jack. It is mounted on the roofrack and it just makes it to high to fit in the garage.
I'm also looking for someone who wants to swop a full height drawer packing esystem for half a system because I do load things in the back sometime.
There is a little bit of surface rust where the original spare wheel carrier was. I must deal with that.
There is a bit of the clunk sound when stopping which I think is just some grease needed.
I will drive more in a week than what Ian drove in the last 6 months.
Going to sleep with a big grin on my face.
New adventures.
