222K Overlanding Parts Kit
My Patrol 4.8GRX is on 222000 Km. I was considering a swop for a newer/lower Km model but after some deliberation decided not to and rather jack up my existing Patrol. I mostly do solo trips (Zambia/Namibia/Botswana) and want to make sure (as far as possible) that I don't get stuck with a broken/dysfunctional vehicle with no one around. Therefor need some help/advice on what parts to replace or take a spare with, as well as where to source them if not from Nissan.
Replacements so far:
Radiator (about 10K ago)
Manual Hubs
Wheel bearings
Possible parts to replace/take spare with:
V-Belt set
Hose set
Viscous fan
Alternator
Petrol pump
I am also taking the Patrol to Frans for a thorough checkup and service. Any help/advice/recommendations would be appreciated.

I Highly recommend replacing the suspension bushes at 200+ Km it is very likely the dreaded death wobbles might start. Also with the auto a good flush and clean of the gearbox is not a bad idea.

Re: 222K Overlanding Parts Kit
Others might also correct me if they don't think it necessary but a vehicle older than 15 years the difflock's rubber vacuum hoses tend to harden and crack which can slowly engage the difflock while driving, the diff will still work but realising the diflock doesn't work while on a solo trip is not lekker so replacing the rubber pipes and adding some hoseclamps could prevent a lot of issues.

Re: 222K Overlanding Parts Kit
Here's some ideas I'd consider:
Starter motor
Alternator
Belts
Replace all the water hoses
check/replace radius arm bushes
check Drag link and tie rod bushes
Replace panhard rod bushes (Front and rear)
Probably handbrake cable if its not smooth any more
Vacuum hoses to locker and breathers (like Tijmen mentioned)
Flush water from the block
New thermostat
new Viscous clutch
Replace fuel pump

Re: 222K Overlanding Parts Kit
I when you replace your radiator hoses and fan belts, keep the old ones and fasten them with cable ties somewhere in the engine bay as emergency spares.
At least you know that they will fit, they are instantly available and that they should still be OK if used in an emergency. Even new hoses or belts are known to have failed fairly soon after (incorrect?) fitment.
I did that in my Terrano and the extra (old/used) aircon belt saved me from getting hot under the collar in Kaokoland

If it's not done every couple of years, definitely replace the brake fluid.
