GL bolt holes?

Post by Steele »

Hi all, does anyone know if the GL (5 seater) has the bolt holes in the back on the wheel arches for attaching the 7 seats? I want to use these for the drawers system I'm planning.

Thought I would ask before I pull off the wheel arch lining and break something :rolling:
Cheers, Gareth

On the GQ, all I have on wheel arch are the anchors for the 3rd row seat safety belts

The GU GRX's have two threaded holes in the body work on either wheel arch where the third row seat hinges attach. There are also two clasps on the floor (2 bolts per clasp) where the seat locking mechanism clicks in.

No bolt holes on the wheel arches, I actually cut a piece of the plastic cover open to see if there are any.

Yeah just much easier if it is already there. Wanted to mount the shelf for my dual battery and the seat mounting points are already nice and strong. Will strip away the lining and check the options.

Removing of side lining is not a big issue on the GL, start at the top lining and work your way down, quick work.
