Transfer control lever Boot

Post by NoPressure »

Hi guys, just trying my luck.
After replacing the clutch we realised the boot over the control lever is cracked and broken. I have contacted David and he does not have anything in stock.

After asking around locally I just found another guy searching for one

Nissan couldn't find any, and after ordering it through Partsouq they let me know this morning they are out of stock.

So, if anybody has another plan or stock of these please let me know.

Ruan, the pictured part is found on the transfer case control lever, not the clutch fork (which I think is the one you are after)?

If the one you want is the one on the clutch fork, I know Michael usually tries to stock a couple of these.

Thanks Peter

I'm definitely looking for this spesific boot. The one on the clutch fork looks to be still ok.

But I will try and contact Michael in any case regarding it.

Hi Ruan
I actually did not know you could buy this rubber boot as a seperate item. I have tried before, but was only sold complete with the transfer leaver.

Sorry, but I dont have either

Thanks for the reply Michael- it seems to be listed seperate from the lever. It was rather cheap ~ USD 4.80 (shipping is hectic though).

Idiotically I discarded my old one after ordering through Partsouq

So I've made a temporary one from some old rubber, tiedowns and "Sticks like Sh**". I will have to wait for David.

Unless someone knows of another reputable parts suppliers - local or abroad?
