…………………..ust got a call from Audio Direct, where I ordered from.

Nice sounding Guy tells me the new subwoofer has been launched, and he's "upgrading" mine to the new one, no charge. Old one is 1000 w, new one is 1100 and apparently a bit better.

Noice. :blonde: :blonde:

I didn't buy online. Got it installed at a dealer in Montague Gardens. It was a spontaneous thing. Saw the sign when passing, and popped in to get n idea of what is on the market, and got carried away and told them to go for it

Audio direct is the retail arm of the guys that import nakamichi, so you're buying directly from the agents themselves. No middle men to give you the run around.

Guys quick one please.........busy installing a sound system in the Patrol.

The subwoofer has its own amp etc etc, all is well, BUT...........

Where to put it??

1) Under the passenger seat looks ideal, BUT
1.1) How to "fix" it, can it just lie "loose" there, its a HELL of a job removing the seat for just a bracket
1.2) Will it have an OK "effect" there, under the seat??

2) Somewhere at the rear, but it will be exposed, and next to or on top of the drawers, so I'm not really to keen on it

3) In the rear footwell, in the centre is also a good place...........BUT
3.1) If there is ever a 3d (center) passenger, its under his feet

............PLEASE ADVISE, I need to decide, thanks!!!

Kan die sisteem werk sonder hom?

As hy kan, bou vir hom 'n netjise boks wat jy kan uitprop en by die huis los as jy baie goed moet laai?
Mag ons ons kenniskry met lekkerkry aanhoukry.

Peter, ek wil maar 'n "fixed" ding he.

Het besluit die seat moet more uit en ons sit daai sub uit die oog uit maar hy moet VAS wees teen die vloer.

Laat ek dit maar reg doen.......dis een of ander sindroom wat ek seker het

By the way, from what I've seen thus far I'm UBER impressed - speakers are solidly built, Head Unit look like great quality but nice and "simple", and that sub is VERY solid looking, with alu/some metal body, and quite heavy.

Hope it sounds as good as it looks, then I think it's good value for $$$

My opinion?? Buy of the Year, GREAT value!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :blonde:

Highly highly recommended, it sounds like - well - a Nakamichi.

Loud, clear, DEEP and tight bass, everything just good
