Patrol Visco 4.2

Post by Louis Nel »

Hey all, we got a Patrol 4.2 Visco at our shop in Vryheid for some time now.
Not sure if its 4.2 petrol or 4.2 diesel, just says 4.2 on the box.
The part number on it I'm not sure about either, it may be a part number that parts incorporated put on the box.

Took some pics for dimensions so we can try make out which model this is for. After that we can see what its worth.

I did try to put on my TB45E and it did not work so its defo not for that.

Don't know if this helps, but 4.5 and 4,2 petrol are the same.

The following measurements are for a 4.5 viscous fan (and, according to Peter, for a 4.2 petrol then too).

Die fan boud op hom op die eenkant, en die waterpomp op die ander kant.

Ok sorry for taking so long to reply, kinda forgot I posted this. My head is not screwed on properly :)

Took some pics of what the PC thinks it is and so on. Can see on one of the pics what they go for
however I'm not sure the Patrol section is up to date if you ask me. But anyways this is all the info I have.
Guess we just gona have to try put it on a 4.2 diesel and see if it fits. No use if someone pays for it and it don't work.
I don't know anyone close to where I live with a diesel so I can't test it.
