Nissan Patrol 4x4 (Africa)

Hi , today I ran into a spare shop to buy filters and oil for my 3.0d GRX. 190 000KM service. I forgot my diary at work with all the part numbers etc. At both shops they gave me a filter for the Hardbody, I told them its wrong cause the Patrol uses a cartridge and not a metal filter. The Spares shops I go to always seem to have terrible info for Patrols on their catalogues.
I request that we have a template form for all Patrol models which states all the relevant parts you need to maintain your vehicle.Pse somebody that can create something like it its nice to have , you print it and keep it in your car.

Ant idea why the rear and front diff would use different oil?

John easy answer because the one is in the FRONT and the other in in the REAR

Brake Pads Rear ( Ferro Brake |) - FDB937
Gearbox oil - Amsoil 75W90
Airfilter - My petrol Patrol uses the diesel spec air filter as per Spares Shop catalogue

Have not yet replaced front brake pads when I enquired about them the Spares Shop said sorry must get from agents???

Jules, where do you buy the amsoil from, I have been recommended to use it when I bought my Cruiser few years back but could not find it then.

Does anyone know of an after market air filter element for the TB45E motor in the Y61 4.5 GRX Patrol? I am busy gathering the parts and fluids for my 220000km service and it seems neither GUD nor Fram have an air filter element in their catalogues. Has anyone found a GUD/Fram that works?

Gerrit, I see the Ozzies say the only part you must buy genuine from Nissan is the air filter.
Do you perhaps have a chart or diagram with all the grease nipple points on the GU.I would like to give mine a good grease lube service myself, to see what nipples are blocked or dont work.

Koos, I also read that on the Aussie forum. I wonder whether there might be a Donaldson air filter element that would work, though.

The maintenance section of the Y61 manual does not mention any other grease nipples than those on the propshafts. Other items that need greasing are the front wheel bearings and the auto hubs, but of course these are not greased via grease fittings.
