So three vehicles actually made it up under their own power. One Cruiser, one Patrol and one Landy on Patrol axles and gearbox.
The first comment when I watched was "proof that the 79 is the king of Africa"...

I must say the Cape Route Rally guys are doing a lot for the Patrol brand.
Pity it is about 30 years too late. But better late than never I guess.
