Patrol Diesel 3.0 GL for sale, 2014, just below 100 000km, Pearl White (sides wrapped), full Nissan service history, tow bar, bladders in the coils springs at the back, seat covers (Melvin & Moon), Caska Radio/GPS/Bluetooth/Reversing Camera. The rings have been replaced by Nissan and it still carries a warranty for all work done, while this was getting done I replaced the big end bearings, clutch plate, got the head serviced (by engineers) etc.
This Patrol has done mostly to work and back kms, very little dirt roads and almost no 4x4 'ing, it has been well cared for.
I am in the process of trading it in, but if anybody is interested I am looking for R350000.00.
Contact me directly if interested, andrewab@netactive.co.za

Re: Patrol 3.0 GL for sale
HI Andrew
If I may ask, why was all that work necessary on the engine? - (rings replaced, big end bearings, clutch plate, head serviced)
2014 is still very young, with apparently no hard labour done.

Re: Patrol 3.0 GL for sale
At the 90 000km service, the compression was noticed to be on the low side. Following further investigations and tests I decided to strip and see what the problem was, it was found that the second compression rings were below specification. Everything else was 100% in specification. So effectively only the rings need to get replaced nothing else, the rest was done only because it made sense to do it whilst the motor was open no other reason. I was starting the process of selling it at the time, but decided to rather fix it first before selling.
