Congratulations!

Power it directly of your battery, both negative and positive. And do not trigger the mic key without the antenna connected.... while at it, do not hold onto the antenna while keing the mic, it will be eina!!
With installation make sure how the radio needs to be programmed. Some can be programmed thought the mic port, others elsewhere, so plan that programming is accessable when istalled, else get it programmed for the ORRA frequencies before installing.
Once installed, you will have to get someone with a SWR meter to assist you to trim the antenna as Ian indicated earlier in this thread.

RTS has already programmed in the orra frequencies. Small little thing, will probably have it next to my leg. Got a mag antenna also, so that can sommer go over the dash when I stick it on
