Have this system in Germany and in Africa, working perfect with tube or tubeless.
Extremely simple installation!

Brought the same to my friend in Bethlehem for his Landcruiser and a different one for his motorbike.

Problem with this system is that the caps get stolen (in this country anyway!)
Much better to have the internal one in my view.

Hm, have them since 5 years. Even in Nairobi not stolen.
It is possible to lock them with a small allan key, but thats not very usefull.

With the internals you can't drive tube-tires and I heard that the mounting and balancing of new tires is very expensive.

It's true that you can't use them on tubed tires.

It's also true that some tire shops are worried about damaging them, but it doesn't involve any more work to mount and balance tires and therefore shouldn't cost more.

Several people I know have lost external ones, either through falling off due to vibration, through damage in off-road conditions or through theft.
Mag ons ons kenniskry met lekkerkry aanhoukry.

The biggest down fall of external one is once you remove the cap you cant see the pressure. ..when defating and putting air back you can follow it all the time
