Goodyear Duratrec Tyres
A friend of mine recently fitted these on his vehicle and claim that it's coming with a warranty on sidewall damage and the likes. It apparently compares to BFG KO's but I haven't previously had any experience of these tyres. What's your take on it or is there anyone driving with them currently. What is the sidewall specs, price comparison etc etc ?

Re: Goodyear Duratrec Tyres
Yes , I have 2 vehicles fitted with them.
I get very good life and the grip on rock and in wet conditions is very good. They balance easy and road noise is low. Also a good compromise between mud and all terrain.
Ironically I had a sidewall burst from rock damage on the way to Moegatle this weekend. Happened at 100km/h and could stop safely.
The current set on my gq has had a lot of punishment and there is a second tire with a snotprop in the sidewall that will soon be replaced. With another duratrek.
