Hi Guys
I actually forgot about this issue.
The Trol's ABS light comes on after a km or 2, and my son Jomar actually tested the brakes on the gravel today, the ABS does indeed not work.
1998 GRX 4500.
What to do??
Would disconnecting the battery work??
Or where do I start, maybe this is a known but small niggle??
Where are fuses etc etc that I can check/clean/replace??
THANKS

Re: ABS Light on - Where to Look??
Hi Petri,
even if it is a long time already: I think the easiest way would be to have your error messages read out. Theoretically you could have a look at the ABS-sensors and the wires to them at the wheels, there is a chance that you can find an error there.
But if that doesn't help getting the error messages would be the quickest way to find the culprit, I think.
Most probably disconnecting the battery won't do much (but that is a guess) as the ABS-system is safety-relevant and the errors might be locked in the system.
But maybe someone else can confirm or deny this.

Same symptoms - see my post - still not resolved - if you find a solution, let me know.petri oosthuizen wrote: ↑28 Apr 2020 04:00 The Trol's ABS light comes on after a km or 2, and my son Jomar actually tested the brakes on the gravel today, the ABS does indeed not work.
