Yes a carbon test was done. The flywheel is a DMF (I was charged R 22000 ex Vat by SAC). I considered getting a solid flywheel but the reported vibration put me off.

I have a suspiscion that I have seen that vehicle advertised for a while. A 2004 Patrol with the same mileage and the same extras appeared months ago on the website of a dealer in Pretoria, at that time for R 220,000 if my memory serves me right. Now it migrated to Randburg. Makes you wonder.
