1995 Patrol GQ 4.2 Petrol - SOLD

Post by graham1 »

Hi All,

Im still not 100% that I should be doing this, but anyway, here it goes.

Im putting my Patrol up for sale.

Details:
1995 4.2 SGL
Manual
Just under 93000kms now. Yes, that mileage is correct :)

The only mods are as follows:
Weber carb conversion
free flow exhaust (but actually not that free flowing to be noisy)
Tinted windows
Cruise control
Long range tank

The rest of it is stock standard and in beautiful condition. I actually bought her off a member of the forum last year, who had it since 2012.
Service history is all up to date and book stamped.

Just two months ago had GTECH put a new waterpump in. It will have to go back there soon now though as the engine mounts bombed out last week.

Im looking for R90k, and because Im still in such two minds as to whether to sell or not Im not neg on this.

Im based in Hartbeespoort these days.

Well, actually, if I have the story right, it WAS driven by an old lady on weekends only for quite a few years!

Apparently the first owner passed away, and the wife kept the vehicle for many years after that, driving it only every now and then.

I know I know.
Im still not convinced I should be doing this, but she's taking up so much space in the garage (these things are bloody massive!), and in the year of ownership I think Ive put about 2000kms on her.

Hi Graham,

Could you please post some pics of the inside? I have a '85 Patrol (2.8 petrol) that has been converted into a game viewer. Have been contemplating to return it to its former 7 seater state... But this sounds like an excellent alternative, if I can sell mine fast enough. Any takers?
