Retracting of aerial.

Post by Vaatjie » 22 Apr 2009 15:53

Hello guys
On the 4.8GL models the aerial only pulls back halfway if you use the button to lower the aerial. Is there a way to lower it completely without switching of the radio.
• Maybe Nissan sells a switch that will do the job.(hi hi)
• Can I wire a switch in myself to do the same job? Did anybody tried this before.
Any input and pointers will do.

That aerial is most infuriating and after breaking (geknak) mine a second time in the bush, I simply cut mine off with a side cutter - the motor still whirrs wildly every time I start the motor. I am now looking for a replacement, whip aerial and will then remove the motor completely and use the switch for something else. Let me know if you do come up with a solution though.

I also neet to fix mine as the rope is broken and does not retract or extend. How do I get to the motor?

Wiring of radio and patrol. Blou/wit draad vanaf radio.

Spasie is beperk

Dankie Vaatjie!

Herrie.
