Eshowe Round Table 4x4 trip

Post by Jules » 23 Nov 2014 21:09

Hello allemal

So n ongeluk gebeur in n oogwink.

So daardie helling uit lyk redelik kwaai vir my.

Some more info en prentjies

Colt drove home ( about 100km ), we suspect malfunction of brakes as well as possible clutch.

Overall the Patrols just kept taking everything in their stride, truly magnificent vehicles we drive. All of us were also much impressed with the Gelandewagen . this military vehicle just kept going , amazing what a difference lockers all over ( front, middle and rear ) can make , when we thought it will run out of steam it just got stronger !! amazing.

The articulation of our vehicles amazed everyone except obviously ourselves, the raw power of those 4.8 are still giving the other guys nightmares. Pierre GQ LDV with front and rear lockers was also unstoppable and the ease with which he conquered the heavy stuff might change my mind to install a front locker.
