Hi Tony,

There is a member in CT that is selling a set of five originals like you are looking for with 275/65 x 17 tyres for R10K - http://patrol4x4.co.za/viewtopic.php?f=67&t=7642

I just managed to get a set from a Pieter Botha here on the Forum. I had been looking for a set for some time! They are 17 x 8J rims. I decided to keep my black A-Lines, which are 17 x 9j rims.

I have 275/65 x 17 AT tyres (32s) fitted to the Genuine Nissan mags and 285/70 x 17 LT BFG Muds (33s) fitted to the black A-Line mags. I have 5 of each mag.

Good luck with your search.

Ok, so, if I can machine my current rims to fit the Patrol hubs better, then no need to replace them - or if anyone can help out with the correct spacers to overcome the problem then I will be really grateful as my rims really do look cool and I would prefer to keep them!
I remember a thread some time back on wheel spacers, if anyone can point me in the right direction. Thanks.

Yes Tony, please resolve the matter. Those rims looks super cool on you patrol. Dont sell or swap.

Speak to Cedric. He is the one with the spacers. Also try Tinus. I got a set from him.

No Tinus, I wasn't able to get out of the factory - I'll try tomorrow or Friday. Don't worry, I plan to keep these rims if at all possible!!

If the rims are not to "thick" for the wheel studs to be long enough to have sufficient thread left, then the 6mm spacers that Cedric organized while back should do the trick.
Otherwise 30mm adaptor type spacers. But this might just be too wide and make the wheels stick out too much, depending of the wheels offset. ..

I got a set of 30mm spacers I am selling, but only got two. Also got 4 of Cedric's 6mm spacers lying around. (using one on the sparewheel carrier currently, but can make another plan there)... Let me know if you want to try them to see if it will work (see if enough thread on wheel studs will be left).. :salute:

Tony, call Gavin Byrne at zero82 36719one7. He can machine them. Much better than spacers.

Tell him I sent you, and tell him to call me to explain what he has to do. He did my previous mags, but that was 6-7 years ago, and I doubt he can still remember the dimensions.
Mag ons ons kenniskry met lekkerkry aanhoukry.
