What say the Forum??
Ok so finally run out of money so need to sell one of my Patrols! But the question is which one, I like them both and they both have their good and week points in my view! (love the auto box in the 4.5 but love the power and fuel consumption in the 4.2 TDi) So what say you guys which one should I keep and which one should I actively market? What they have cost me so far 4.5 R110K and the 4.2 TDi R145K

Patrols with weak points!!???? :) I thought only Land Cruisers had those.
Anyway jokes aside.
I would keep the Diesel, just because of how much u spent on it, wont get it back.

Re: What say the Forum??
4.2 TDi R145K
Long term maintenance costs will be much more.
This may outweigh the difference in consumption.
Range is better
Will get scarcer and more sought after over time.
4.5 R110K
Will always be good value to buy
But I do not see its value increasing over time as the case may become with the 4.2s.
Personally I would keep the diesel, but this is only because I already have too straight six petrol guzzlers in the garage.
Ultimately it is a personal choice.

Sell the 4.5 & use the money to put down a deposit on a new 4.8
