Y61 Locking hub spanners
Right, due to what appears to be popular demand on this thread:
http://patrol4x4.co.za/viewtopic.php?f=67&t=7446
here she is:
Shallow 21mm socket on one end for the hubs, 13mm through-hole socket on the other end for the negative battery terminal. The tool is about 14mm thick, 32mm wide and 150mm long and is made of (304) Stainless steel. Cost is R300.
Who wants?

I'd like one please. I think I've still got your bank details, but will confirm that via whatsapp.Peter Connan wrote: ↑13 Nov 2017 21:09 Right, due to what appears to be popular demand on this thread:

Re: Y61 Locking hub spanners
Peter explained earlier. These are for the wheelbearings. Not for the hubs.

Re: Y61 Locking hub spanners
Correct. But this is much smaller, thus can fit in a door pocket or cubby hole or even the centre console, so you don't have to unpack the car to find your wheelspanner if you want to lock the hubs...
Mag ons ons kenniskry met lekkerkry aanhoukry.

Re: Y61 Locking hub spanners
Sorry Ian, I am now offering both. And at the same price too...
This thread is for the hub-locking spanner, the other thread (linked in the first post) is for the wheel bearing spanner.
