Ok today I eat very humble pie :redface: After ripping of the diesel dogs on the forum for years, I finally drove my 4.2 tdi that I bought from David!

All I can say is Holy Cow this thing pulls like and tank and just keeps going and going, I can safely say I have never driven a vehical with as much torque as this motor, 5th gear up a hill and you just put your foot down and it just accelerates :surprised:

Ok I will admit it in public I and now a convert of "the Dark Side" :thumbup:

Just keep an eye on that EGT monitor...

I did, was also surprised, long low uphill at about 110km/h and put my foot down and they only went up to 415deg c and coolent temp up to 95 and it was 32 Deg c outside yesterday

Ian i drove that patrol...it goes ok you need to get to Michael and feel what it can do .....lol :biggrin:
There is place for 35% improvement there

Ian my son.... come sit here by me .... we don't talk much here on the diesel side.... we let the lovely smell of diesel do the talking for us....... :rolling:
